In May 2016 the UK's National Audit Office reported on two government shared service centres whose customers were meant to move onto single platforms. One supplier had "encountered significant issues with data migration" on systems it already owned and ran, and the Department for Transport's move had slipped from the end of 2014 to the end of 2017.

JD Edwards owners are regularly asked the same thing by a board member or a software salesman: when are you leaving? Oracle's own answer is on the record. Its Lifetime Support Policy, effective 7 August 2026, commits Premier Support for EnterpriseOne 9.2 through at least December 2037, and Oracle's support FAQ shows that date has been extended nine times from the original 2025.
